Women project Bwejuu
In 2009 (Austria Development Agency) conceived an interesting Microproject called "Imarisha".
Seaweed and organic waste(vegetables) were collected
from surrounding hotels. These precious ingredients were mixed with a hint of EM(Effective Microorganism), kept in 120 litre containers for 5 days of fermentation and then mixed into sandy soil
to create fertile conditions for growing fruits, vegetables and herbs. The harvest was used in their own families and the hotels paid well for fresh herbs and rocket salad. A big Thank You to
